Rev. Dr. Akua Ofori-Boateng is the Director of Programmes for the Anglican Diocese of Accra, Ghana, overseeing diocesan strategy. Before priesthood, she worked as a researcher at Proctor & Gamble and a design engineer at Cummins Inc. in the USA, and she later returned to Ghana as the general manager for a petroleum company. After a 17-year corporate career, she pursued ministry, focusing on women and youth empowerment. She cofounded the Aequitas Foundation, running a youth skills program that has impacted over 22,000 participants. She holds degrees in Engineering, an MBA, an MA, and a PhD in Theology. She also serves on Ghana’s Electoral Commission.
