Dr. Kwok Pui-lan is a Distinguished Scholar at Episcopal Divinity School and has taught at the school for 25 years. She is a past president of the American Academy of Religion and has authored and edited numerous books on Asian and Asian American feminist theology, biblical interpretation, and postcolonial criticism. She is the author of The Anglican Tradition from a Postcolonial Perspective and coeditor of Beyond Colonial Anglicanism and Anglican Women on Church and Mission. She is coediting a volume with Bishop Ian T. Douglas on Living Postcolonial Anglicanism, forthcoming in the fall. She received the Lanfranc Award for Education and Scholarship from the Archbishop of Canterbury in 2021.
