Dr. Alaimaluloa Toetu’u-Tamihere

Dr. Alaimaluloa Toetu’u-Tamihere was born and raised in the Kingdom of Tonga. Educated in various countries, she has observed the challenges and achievements of women in Oceania. She is a cradle Anglican with a passion for social justice, indigenous framed theology, and a deep commitment to caring for God’s creation. She received her PhD in Education from the University of Auckland and has taught at Trinity Methodist College. She lives in Aotearoa New Zealand and is the General Manager of the Pacific Islanders Community Trust in Gisborne, New Zealand.
