EDS Colloquium: Reproductive Justice and Christian Community

In a political climate where forced pregnancy is increasingly common and pregnant women are dying as a result of being refused life-saving medical care, what is God calling us to do? Join us as we talk with ethics professor, Dr. Christine Pae about how Christian communities can respond and act in the face of reproductive oppression targeted at the most marginalized people in our society.

EDS Colloquia are dynamic, virtual hubs where the public are invited to witness and participate in rigorous theological discourse with renowned experts. Colloquia further EDS' legacy of progressive education and innovative, inclusive pedagogy. Through these virtual events, EDS fosters transformative conversations that incubate ideas, shift theological narratives, and inspire action for justice. EDS Colloquia are offered in tandem with our public, virtual, non-credit courses, in this case The Sacred Work of Reproductive Justice, taught by the Rev. Dr. Rebecca Todd Peters.
